ENERGY STAR Inspection
The team at JKP Energy Inspections (JKP) has been providing support for the EPA’s ENERGY STAR Certified Homes program in the Phoenix market since 1999. In recognition of its achievements in promoting ENERGY STAR, assisting builders with constructing energy-efficient homes, and raising the standards of construction in the Phoenix market and nationally, JKP is receiving ENERGY STAR recognition.
Key accomplishments include:
- Verified a total of 78,128 ENERGY STAR certified homes in Arizona
- The highest number of homes certified in Arizona compared to other rating companies
- Helping builders and their subcontractors understand and embrace ENERGY STAR Version 3.
- Training builders’ sales agents, using customized sales books, to educate consumers about the features and benefits of ENERGY STAR certified homes.

- Selecting climate-appropriate energy efficiency features
- Field verification and inspections
- Energy star labels and certificates
- Submission to RESNET Registry
- Submission to utility companies
